June 2010

We had a wonderful June with Cowboy Church every Saturday but one. We could get used to that. God blessed us in so many ways, and we praised Him and give thanks to Him for His faithfulness.
Mt. Hope Baptist invited us to minister in song and interpretive dance at their June 13th service. It was a blessed time in the Lord. We always enjoy worshipping with Russ Woody and his folks. We also helped them with their Vacation Bible School.

Foothills Community Church Vacation Bible School was a western theme and did we have a great time. The boys roped the calf, and people, we sang, danced, and just had a great time in the Lord. Five children gave their lives to Christ. That was the highlight of the week.

Dr. J. Michael Williams invited us to his church, West Hall Baptist in Gainesville for a kickoff party for their VBS. We took three of our horses and the ropers. We roped calves, kids and lead the kids around on the horses. We presented three of the most powerful songs from the Saddle Ridge Ranch Program and the kids were excited about their VBS starting that next week. My kids really enjoy going to the other churches and helping and I appreciate the opportunity.

There is a new Cowboy church started in Cleveland, Tennessee and they invited us to minister in song, dance and testimonies. JR, Josh and Daniel gave powerful testimonies of God's salvation, power and grace in their lives. We might not have any men at our Cowboy church but it is evident to me Gods raising up some for His Honor and Glory.

Yes, it has been busy but blessed. We would rather burn out for Christ than die just sitting around doing nothing. The fields are white; we are planting seeds of God's grace in the lives of these boys and girls. Pray that God will keep us strong, give clear direction, protect us from the evil one and use us for His honor and glory. God has burned John 4:34 (NKJ) in my heart, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent me, and to finish His work.

One day we will ride with Him in white…
