Double HH Ranch - A Ranch of Hope and Healing

February 2010 - From the Heart of A Cowgirl

February 2010

February might be cold and wet but it doesn’t stop the progress at Cowboy Church and the Double
H Ranch, The Ranch of Hope and Healing.

We had a workday on February 6th. The men from Foothills Community Church built a tool shed
and the Cowboy Kids worked hard at cleaning up and spreading wood chips. We have had our share
of rain and were trying to soak up the mud.
We worked most of the day and then had church. Neal Van Natta was our guest speaker and not
only did he preach, he came out early and helped the men with the building and the kids with the
wood chips. Way to go Neal!

Richard Bartholomew preached on the 20th and it was a real blessing to have him back. It was a
beautiful day, the first one without rain. We had some new friends to show up and God’s Rolling
Thunder was well represented. They are a big help as the girls prepare and serve the food every third

The kids have been studying the life of Joseph and how God had a plan for his life. Even though he
hadn’t done anything wrong, he found himself in some bad situations. We see how he trusted God
and how God brought him from a dungeon, to the next highest position under Pharaoh.
The Bible says "A righteous man’s steps are ordered by the Lord.” If we are in God’s will, we can
trust him that he is with us, he knows where we are and he will work all things together for good. If
your going through some hard times, know that God has a plan for your life. He will bring you
through. Sometimes you just have to wait on him. “He that dwelleth in the secret place, shall abide
under the shadow of the almighty.”

What better place to wait.

One day we will ride with Him in white…
